Changes in this YouTube Channel, Swaruu Official, and a Surprise (English)

Mari Swaruu: Hello my friends, thank you for stopping by. I hope you are all happy and well.

Today, I am Mari. My Taygetan team and I have decided to make some interesting changes to how we will publish the videos from now on, and I wanted to explain and share this with all of you.

As you have not noticed, since more than a year ago and up to now, I have been publishing videos every day, first in English and then the next day in Spanish. The videos get published first in English simply because it is the language I chose to write in, as it is the one I'm most proficient in. And this gives my team the rest of the day to translate the text and transform it into a spoken audio file. I make the English audios myself, as you already know, and I'm also overlooking the final translation in Spanish as well, as it is also one of the languages I know.

As a week is made of seven days, which is an odd number, this means that each time a video is published in one or another language, it will alternate the day of the week, causing confusion and disorganization. So, we have decided to publish two videos on Wednesday, one in each language and on the same subject, so the rest of the week will always have fixed days when a subject is published in each language. And this means that there will be one more video each week, moving from 7 to 8.

The schedule for the languages and the new videos will be as follows: Monday, English, then the same subject on Tuesday in Spanish. Then, two videos on the same subject for Wednesday. Then, Thursday, English video again, and Friday, Spanish video again. The two videos which will be published on Wednesday and in both languages will be short ones, or of whatever length is appropriate for the subject at hand. There are many concepts that I believe should have their own video, even though it may be short. They will also serve as easy-to-find reference material for understanding other videos that will be published in the next few days. These short videos will not be of the YouTube shorts kind. I made only two of those in the past, and I did not like them for many reasons.

First of all, I found them as difficult to make as full-size ones, so I see no point in them. And second, I don't like to feed humanity's shorter and shorter attention span, although I know that all of you who listen to my material don't fall into that category.

So, I may reuse some of the most important concepts and pieces of information from recent or past videos, especially those that I feel are necessary to keep in mind or that I feel may be hard to understand for most viewers. How long they will be will depend on each subject, but they may vary from two minutes to whatever, including full-size ones, so they will not have a fixed duration. I hope you like them.

Then here comes the surprise. Saturday will be English again, and Sunday Spanish, but both of them will always be scheduled as premieres. My Taygetan team in CIC, which helps me with all my tasks with this YouTube channel, has informed me that you guys are having a very good time interacting and talking with each other in the space of time that the chat is open before a video premiere starts. And as the atmosphere there is nice and positive, we have decided to always give you the weekends to be able to interact with each other.

The comment section in all the other videos will remain closed, at least for now, but we still think it is best not to open them because the Taygetans made me promise I would not look at any messages directly as they want to keep me shielded from any incoming bad things.

And this brings me to talk about messages in general. As you all know, I write the day before a video is published in English, and it takes me several hours to finish a subject even though I write fast and I am very efficient. Then I must process the text so I can turn it into an English audio file. And then I must make the video from scratch with special software, render it, and then my team gives me the cover image they made so I can finally upload it to YouTube. This process sometimes takes me all day long, so it would be impossible for me to answer messages from all of you.

I know this is sad, but it is a physical impossibility because I need the time to write and to be in a rested mood to be able to be creative and resourceful with the information, I can share with you all, and daily. Yet, my CIC team will share with me some of your beautiful messages of appreciation, and I thank you all for them as they make me happy and in the perfect mood to continue with my writing and all the rest of my work.

Same way, I want to thank you all for your kind and super helpful donations. As I've said before, you are all game changers for me. You are making all this possible because you are helping me and us solve our needs, and this will keep us on air onwards.

As many of you know, I write as if I was speaking, at least most of the time, and I am not permitted to use my real voice. The Federation prohibits that unfairly. I'm always trying to improve the quality of the voices I use. I'm not entirely happy with the English one. Yet, it is the best one I can find now. As for the Spanish voice, we are all quite happy with it.

But even if I could use my real voice, I wouldn't be able to use it all the time because it would be quite difficult to write and record a video as often as I do. So even then, this kind of voice may still be helpful. Yet, I still have hope that in the near future, I may find a way to use my real voice.

As for the images and small video clips I use in my videos, they are the best ones my team and I can find for each subject. Because most are under copyright and unusable. Sometimes, and if we have enough time, I will use specially made ones to illustrate in detail what I am talking about as best as possible. The problem is the super tight schedule I'm publishing my videos in and I do not wish to space them out more because there is too much to share with all of you. We can manage this publishing rhythm, even being able to add one video more each week.

So, for clarity, and lastly, this is how the videos will be published. English videos will be published on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Spanish videos will be published on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. So each language will have a total of four videos a week. I hope you enjoy them.

And lastly, a note about the English YouTube channel. I haven't been able to finish setting it up because of new YouTube requirements that are hard to fulfill from orbit. I'm not discarding the channel, but for now, I'm forced to continue in both languages in this one.
